A Heart of Gratitude!

Ephesians 1:15-16-Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers. NKJV

I have been pondering what I wanted to say to you this Thanksgiving season, and this verse came to my heart.

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:

Ephesians 1:15-16 NKJV

It is with a heart of gratefulness that I blog. In the beginning, I had only a few people reading my blogs, but now I have over 300 people who receive my blog every time I post. I know they do not read every post, but some of you are very faithful, leaving comments and likes, letting me know you have stopped by.

Others quietly read and move on, but they return, signaling that they are also reading and enjoying the blogs. I am so grateful for you! I can blog until the day I transition to eternity, but if no one reads the blogs, it’s to no avail. Your likes, comments, and views encourage me, and they keep me writing. Thank you so very much!

I can’t say like Paul that I pray for you always, but I pray for you often. I pray that you are encouraged in your walk with the Lord. I pray that something I write helps you to love the Savior more and causes you to understand His word a little better. I pray that the struggles and circumstances in your life don’t overwhelm you but that you overtake them because of Jesus!

I pray your heart remains open to Jesus and His Spirit and that you will experience Him in ways you had previously only imagined. I am especially grateful for those who have downloaded the prayer of salvation and have come to know the Savior through this blog. I pray that you find a wonderful church to fellowship and grow in the Lord. But don’t forget to come back and check out future posts! And I pray that whenever you do decide to read a blog on this site, that it ministers to you, confirming God’s love for you!

So as you prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving Day with your family and friends, know that someone is praying for your success in the Lord and that His favor will forever be on your life. Enjoy your day, and I’ll be back next week! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! Jesus loves you, and so do I! Wonderful Jesus!

I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and Lord as a child. Once, when I was still quite young, I knocked on a lady’s door, but I don’t remember why. What I do remember is her telling me that I was going to be a preacher. When I was in high school I preached my very first message on Job. It lasted for a long time! LOL! By graduation, I knew that I had been called into ministry. My heart’s desire is to see the people of God understand and operate in the Kingdom of God. We really need to know that we serve an awesome and amazingly good God and our adversary the devil has no good thing dwelling in him.
